Call To Action: National Smile Day / iSmileForAngele

iSmileForAngele will take part in National Smile Day with a global call to action. People everywhere are invited to share a 30-second video answering the question: 'What makes you smile?'

This initiative will bring awareness to the importance of mental well-being by fostering a sense of community and promoting positivity. By encouraging participation in the call to action the campaign can make a meaningful impact on individuals' lives and mental health, contributing to a greater understanding of our individual feelings and emotions to combat trauma, and grief.

National Smile Day / iSmileForAngele

May 31, 2024

The iSmileForAngele Project started as a purposeful concept/hashtag in 2014 for Chanel "Speedy"Benjamin to continue to be motivated through life and strive towards excellence after facing adversity and reality of her beloved grandmother transitioning. Angele Armande Henry Benjamin (September 22, 1944 - May 10, 2014); affectionately known as Angie to her St. Maarten community. She had an amazing spirit, personality, and was well known by many. Her connection with her granddaughter was impactfully special, strong, full of love, wisdom, laughter and smiles.

The void of her grandmother's absence led Chanel to a greater purpose, and it was to keep her grandmother's legacy alive. By curating: iSmileFor Angele Legacy Scholarship for student athletes, 'Smile For Me' Ice Cream Socials, being a part of the inaugural Papa John's Dollars for Dough campaign with the promo code: SMILE4ME, Community Feedings, Dear Santa, and Yoga and Mindfulness for children. She became an advocate for mental health after experiencing a great loss and stresses how important it is to develop a coping mechanism to heal. Leading to being recognized as a Community Hero at Yankee Stadium, being named a Hartford Yard Goats & Liberty Bank Community Kindness Heroes, and being rewarded a Mayoral certificate for her community work.

The iSmileForAngele Project is an initiative in the Mental Health sector of They Love My Splash LLC that embodies resilience, expression, and motivation in addressing trauma, grief, and spreading mental health awareness in the community by promoting positivity - as many think they are alone. That is why They Love My Successful Plan in Life Adjusting to Securing Happiness.
